With the launch of many new hatchbacks in the automobiles market Ford too has introduced its new car called the Figo. Among other automobile companies Ford has also made its contribution to the market by bringing in an economical car to suit the needs of the common man.

The Ford's hatchback has total eight versions- four petrol and four diesels. The colour choice available in Ford Figo is Squeeze and Colorad Red, Sea Grey, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Chill and Panther Black.

Design and Styling of Ford Figo

The front look of the Figo car is bold and aggressive with tail lamps given a vertical design. Ford has attempted to give the car a fresh new kinetic finish design that makes the driver feel energetic and drive-ready. The headlamps and bonnet is designed distinctively too. The interiors’ basic designing is themed in black and red. The door panels match the colour of the seats. The rear seats are folding. The console in the centre is silver in colour giving a chic look.

The Titanium version of the figo car is supported by Bluetooth connectivity, dual Airbags with ABS and EBD and remote central locking. The music system provided in the car works well with total four speakers. The bumpers and the ORVMs match the colour of the body and rear washer, wiper and defogger too are present in the car.

The air conditioner performs well. The radiator grille is chrome finished. Power windows and steering make the drive comfortable. The parcel tray in the car is detachable and the driver seat too can be adjusted manually. Remote boot and fuel lid opener are present in the car. Figo can seat 5 passengers at a time.

The 1196 cc DuraTec 16 V DOHC petrol engine in ford figo gives maximum power of 70 Bhp at 6250 rpm and maximum torque of 102 Nm at 4000 rpm. The suspension is Mc Pherson strut twist beam with boot space 284 litres. The ground clearance is 168 mm and the kerb weight 1040 kilograms.
