Idea Cellular has started its 3G services to new cities in Kerala - Trivandrum and Nedumangad .With this ,high-speed Internet browsing has now been available in these places at affordable rates.The company has approx 2 lakh 3G users in Kerala.

All of Idea's 2G and 3G subscribers will be able to choose from more than 30,000 applications — both free and paid. The service provides  upto 21 Mbps speed and users can perform an array of tasks on their 3G enabled mobile handsets like songs downloading ,watching streaming videos from YouTube like sites,listening streaming audio, photo updates on Facebook , Flickr etc , email , film downloads, watching mobile TV,making blog postings, experiencing HD Gaming and others.

As you already may be aware that Idea 3G is already started in towns - Kochi, Calicut, Trichur, Palghat, Kannur, Malapuram, Alleppey, Pathanamthitta and Kollam .In India ,the service is available in states like MP, Gujarat, HP, UP West, UP East, AP, Kerala, Haryana, besides Maharashtra & Goa.
