Samsung announces Samsung dual-standby mobile phone B5702 for India that lets you operate two SIM cards simultaneously.
The mobile model by Samsung has 2.4 inch TFT LCD screen with 320 x 240 resolution and 17.5m in thickness.It comes with 50MB of internal memory and supports expansion upto 8GB.
The slider design B5702 has a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus,FM radio with RDS function, a MP3 player and support variety audio/video formats..
Samsung B5702 has been claimed to be the first dual-standby phone that supports quad band connectivity.
The two LED lights in handset indicate which of your SIM is active when you receive a call.There are hot keys on mobile handset that lets you activate SIM cards without switching off the mobile phone.
Samsung B5702 can be personalized with themes,songs, and screensavers to recognize which SIM card is being used currently.
For Internet the Samsung B5702 handset supports full web browsing and document viewer.
The battary of the mobile phone has talktime of upto 11.4 hours and a standby time of upto 220.9 hours.
The Samsung B5702 mobile phone is expected to be available in Indian markets in May 2009.
While there is a stay on manufacturing and production of dual phone SIM cards in India presently it is yet to be seen the final judgement of the court scheduled to hear the plea on April 13.
