Samsung mobile is back with two  touchscreen cellphones the Samsung Star S5230 and the Samsung Preston S5600  These new touchscreen  phones  are 2.5G and 3G respectively and  Samsung’s TouchWiz GUI enabled.

While  Star S5230 has a 3-inch WQVGA display ,  the Preston S5600 uses 2.8-inch QVGA panel.
The Samsung Star S5230 is 11.9mm thick and has powerful 3.2 megapixel camera for clear snapshots.It supports 15fps recording at QVGA resolution.

The phone memory provided is 50Mb and expansion can be upto 8GB with the help of memory card slot.The popular accelerometer feature is also there to flip between portrait and landscape orientations in mobile. DNSe enabled better audio quality in handset.The virtual QWERTY keyboard eases text messaging and emailing along with handwriting recognition.It is available in multicolours in addition to Soft pink and Snow white.

Samsung Preston S5600 and Samsung Star S5230 are almost identical on features like camera, accelerometer and PMP functionality.But S5600 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity and 80MB of standard memory makes it different handset.The handset are available in Sweet pink, Snow white, and Charcoal grey colors.
